Who said you were old at 40? My life is actually starting now. I mean, i did a lot of stuff before,: i had a kid, went to College, graduated in business Law, traveled the world… But something was missing.
Four years ago, my good friend Isabel dragged me to a yoga class and I immediately felt the benefits of it.
At that time I was struggling because my beloved aunt had just been diagnosed with pancreas cancer, and I loved her so much I couldn’t face the fact that I might lose her.
So yoga came in my life just like a benediction.
And here I am now, 4 years later. My aunt is gone, but I’ve found peace. So, I’ve decided to deepen my practice by doing a teacher training.
I chose to follow Tamal Dodge program, I took a few classes with him when he was teaching at Yoga Collective in Venice, Ca, (www.yogacollective.com) and I loved it. He teaches a dynamic kind of yoga: Power vinyasa. He learned from the best and is a great teacher himself. He grew up in an Ashram in Hawaï, so yoga has always been part of his life. I’m really looking forward to it.
When I woke up this morning i opened my computer just to see that I won a yoga challenge on Instagram, it’s nothing important, really, but I took it as a sign: i’m on the right path.
Clock is ticking now, the training starts in 8 hours.
